  • Robin Helms

    Bird’s Nest Design

    Robin began woodworking under the guidance of his dad, retired furniture craftsmen Dale Helms. After two acoustic guitars in Vermont and a job making Shoji doors in Bozeman, MT he began woodworking full time not long after he moved to Bellingham, WA in 2018.

    He enjoys the variety of work that comes through the shop - from high end custom cabinets and built ins to creative furniture. You can find his mushroom earrings (and tap handles) next door at Otherlands Beer.

    Reach out to Robin to discuss your cabinetry needs, CNC work or furniture projects.

  • Heather Devries

    Bettie Rocker

    I'm Heather and I make custom wood furniture.

    My career began in chair assembly working for the legend Greg Aanes at his shop in Bellingham, Washington. He passed down numerous skills to me, specifically how to build his infamous Brendan Rocker - a design he perfected over 40 years. Upon retirement he gifted me the forms and plans to continue to build the Brendan Rocker, which I have now dubbed the Bettie Rocker.

    These days I am based in the Sunnyland Sawdust Collective alongside other great woodworkers who help me continue to learn and grow my skills.

  • Keri Bean

    Nesting Instincts Interior Styling

    Interior Decorating with an emphasis on your nesting instincts.  The space you inhabit should be a reflection of "YOU"!  Your passions, tastes, adventures, travels, and lifestyle.

    HYGGE = COZINESS

    Clients describe the work I do by using the word “hygge,” a Danish term meaning “a quality of coziness and comfort that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being.” Pronounced “hoo-guh,” the word has no direct translation in English, though “cozy” comes close. I like to think this word perfectly captures what I strive for in each project.

  • Pocket

    Pocket is currently our only full time shop dog. She enjoys supervising from the comfort of her office chair and alerting us of visitors.

    Outside of the shop, she enjoys long hikes and trail runs, following her nose wherever it takes her, and learning new tricks.
